A Fun Christmas Trip to FL

     I am way behind on updating our blog; We have been so busy over the past two weeks with Christmas fun. One of the biggest highlights of the Christmas break was an amazing trip to Florida to visit Charlie and Maddie's Gammaw and Paw Paw.
    One really special tradition we have is going to a light show they have at my parents' neighborhood splash park. Charlie has gone every year since he was 8 weeks old and it is really well done with coordinating lights and music; This is always a highlight of the Christmas season. The kids loved it- especially when the Frozen songs came on!
     We got to the beach one day to play in the sand and also got to see 'Deck the Chairs' where all of the lifeguard stands were decorated for Christmas. That day, we also went to our favorite restaurant- The Beach Diner- and had a delish brunch. Charlie got to have lemonade which is a huge treat; We always love going there!
      Charlie had a blast riding around in the golf-cart with Paw Paw looking for alligators and Maddie was in heaven snuggling with Gammaw getting her hair brushed. The kiddos made a gingerbread house and Charlie and Paw Paw tackled a few impressive art projects. Charlie and Paw Paw played lots of baseball out in the yard while the girls went walking around the neighborhood (with Maddie in full princess costume, of course!)
     We were so lucky to be able to play in the sunshine and get to make some awesome holiday memories with Gammaw and Paw Paw!
