Walk, Walk, Walk

If you know me IRL, you know one of my absolute favorite things to do is go walking. I could walk for HOURS. You can often find us packing up the stroller (and sometimes the dog) and heading out for a long walk. Our neighborhood is ideal for walking, so we spend hours on end pounding the pavement.

One of Charlie's favorite things to do is walk to see the neighborhood mini-horse. We often stop and watch the horse for a few minutes before continuing on our journey.  This past weekend, Charlie lucked out because the horse's owner was out and asked if he wanted to help feed the horse. Charlie was giddy with excitement as he got to feed her apples right from his hand. Our little animal-lover was truly in his element.

Often times the kiddos will bring a snack and drink to enjoy as we stroll. Charlie swore he did not need a snack and that he did not want to bring one, then proceeded to "share" Maddie's snack- hehe.

We are really looking forward to Spring, warmer weather, and lots more walks around the 'hood.
